What your planets say about you As you look at your career choices, consider what types of people are likely to be working in those particular fields. If you are interested in a high powered field, such as banking, you are likely to be influenced by Mars. If you are a bit more socially active you may be influenced, to a degree, by Neptune. As your planets move in and out of yours and others signs your career path will be affected by others that are active within that career choice and have planets that influence yours. Mixing sun signs Your horoscope will be affected by the people in the field that you choose. If you are a Torus, and you find work with another Torus (that may be a superior), a good match will likely occur. Although it is no guarantee this horoscope match may make life easier and find you being promoted a bit easier. If, however, your sun signs are at odds, like an Aries and a Libra, you may find that your career horoscope will not be one of the better readings you receive.
Everybody is involved Although those you work most closely with will affect your career horoscope the most, make sure to understand that those that are a step or two above and below you on the career ladder also affect your horoscope. To a lesser degree, perhaps, but they still do matter. Because of this, making sure that you interact with the higher ups that are of a beneficial sun sign is a wise idea. If you can get even a little “face time” with these people it will balance out or affect how the person’s sun sign directly above you affect your circumstances. You may need to do a little snooping to find out which sign that higher up may be but it will greatly enhance any reading that you may have. Of course a time of birth would make the scenario perfect, but don’t push your luck if they are a bit removed from you.
It’s in how you use it Playing politics in the workplace is always a difficult thing to do. Most disapprove of the practice while others find it necessary. Some signs are fairly good at the process while others are a bit shy about it. In the case of career horoscopes, however, a balance can be struck between the two. With a reading in hand you will have an idea of where you stand with everybody involved. In this way, you won’t need to play the game as much, or if you do you’ll know where you need to and where you don’t.

Before looking at what the zodiac is, it is important first to understand what the ecliptic is. If you were to imagine what you see when you look up into the sky, and if you tracked the apparent movement of the Sun through it, this is what is meant when the word ecliptic is used. Put simply it means the apparent pathway of the Sun through the sky as viewed from earth. The zodiac is actually a group of constellations that form the backdrop to the Sun's apparent pathway through the sky that extends 9 degrees on either side of the ecliptic. The orbits of the planets (and our Moon) also fall within this zodiac belt. The word zodiac stems from the ancient Greeks - zodiakos kyklos, "circle of animals", or ta zodia, "the little animals" because most of the constellations through which the ecliptic passes represent animals. Although the constellations are irregular in size and shape the 12 astrological signs are generally allocated 30 degrees each.
"The word zodiac stems from the ancient Greeks - zodiakos kyklos, "circle of animals", or ta zodia, "the little animals..."
The ecliptic was clearly identified and divided into 12 equal signs of the zodiac around 450 BC in Mesopotamia. Most reference sources indicate that the zodiac is a Babylonian invention - the oldest record of the zodiacal signs is a cuneiform horoscope from 419 BC. At the same time, Greek sources claim the discovery of the ecliptic during the second half of the 5th century BC. Like many historical developments it is quite possible that both the Greek and Babylonian cultures developed these systems at about the same time.
Symbolically, each of the zodiac signs (Aries - Ram; Taurus - Bull; Gemini - Twins; Cancer - Crab; Leo - Lion; Virgo - Virgin; Libra - Scales; Scorpio - Scorpion; Sagittarius - Archer; Capricorn - Goat; Aquarius - Water Bearer; and Pisces - Fish) represent various qualities. For example, Aries is represented by a Ram and the qualities of initiative, bravery and assertiveness.
Because the Sun's (apparent) pathway through the heavens is basically constant and can be found at roughly the same spot for the same date in each year, this is how we came to use Sun Signs: the position of the Sun in relation to the backdrop of the zodiac constellations. This system is convenient because the average person doesn't have to have complicated planetary positions worked out to know which constellation affects them personally, the date of birth is all that is needed in most cases.
You've all read them in the papers, your daily horoscope, detailing whether you'll be lucky in love today or that perhaps you just might want to slow down that steamy office romance that he started a few weeks ago. Just about everyone reads their romance horoscope, whether they believe in them or not, because most of the time, a romance horoscope is just plain fun. Still, many believe and seriously consider what is contained in a romance horoscope, whether it comes from the daily newspaper or it's offered through a psychic reading. Starting with the basics, most people in the Western astrological world use the Zodiac as their horoscope. Eastern astrological signs are different and animals are used to represent romance horoscope signs. The Zodiac as applied in Western astrology can even go so far as to determining what Zodiac signs are compatible with yours. If you're interested in a romance horoscope, it's best to become somewhat familiar with the signs and personalities associated with each Zodiac figure. For example, those born from April 21 to May 21 are generally considered to be born under the astrological sign of the bull, or Taurus. Be advised however, that these dates follow the 'Tropical Zodiac' format. A tropical date is used mostly in the United States and Europe and uses the hemisphere as a separation guideline. A sidereal zodiac uses the sun and star alignments as a guideline and is used mostly in India. This date format will give the same Taurus sign as being May 15 through June 14. But that's not all. The astronomical date for Taurus is actually May 14 through June 21. If you try to figure out those romance horoscope options, then you are serious about your readings. Regardless of the dates, each romance horoscope sign is given an element. Still using Taurus as an example, their element sign is Earth. A Ram's element is fire, a Gemini is air, and a Scorpio is water. More than one astrological romance horoscope can be the same element and that's where the love matching comes in.
Temperaments can also be determined using a romance horoscope and the various energies and element that are associated with each Zodiac sign. For example, a Leo is expected to be generous, proud and theatrical. A Libra will likely be cooperative and fair. A Sagittarius is straightforward and can be rather careless. Using such information can make a romance horoscope reading much more detailed and thorough, for those who know how to take the information and relate it to their circumstances.
Many believers of astrology and romance horoscope readings believe that certain 'signs' or 'elements' belong together, or not, and that their relationship is predetermined by their signs as well. A romance horoscope will state that an Aries matched with an Aries will experience a fervent relationship, while a Gemini matched with a Virgo will have an 'unusual' relationship. A Libra matched with a Pisces may experience a fairytale love. A zodiac love match can be made by using a romance horoscope to determine what 'sign's are most compatible with yours.
When the Chinese heavenly god and the Chinese earth god decided to create Chinese Astrology and associate Chinese horoscope signs with animals of planet earth, they concluded that each Chinese horoscope sign would need a sort of a powerful material that would not only represent the sign itself, but it would also develop a strong connection, a spiritual relationship with individuals that belong to that sign. So the great Chinese gods collected the twelve most valuable and powerful gem stones on planet earth. These where: Garnet, Aquamarine, Sapphire, Pearl, Amethyst, Opal, Topaz, Emerald, Peridot, Citrine, Diamond and Ruby. Then by studying the attributes of the gem stones they assigned each gem to a Chinese Horoscope sign. These gem stones would protect and bring luck to the possessor. Let's talk about the attributes of the first six lucky Chinese horoscope gem stones and their association with Chinese Astrology and culture.

Then it was given as a divine gift to the Chinese goddesses of the sea in order to charm them. It is very common for Chinese fisherman to carry a piece of aquamarine to invoke the goddesses to bring them luck and protect them when sailing.
